DOCTRINE of BAPTISM: an inconvenient truth for 21st century?

Hebrews 6:2 "Of the DOCTRINE of BAPTISMS…and eternal judgment"

What JESUS had to say,

"He that BELIEVETH on me, AS the SCRIPTURE hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:38)

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born AGAIN." (John 3:7)

"He that believeth and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED" (Mark 16:16)

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19)

"And that repentance and REMISSION of sins should be preached in his NAME among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47)

"Neither pray I for these [APOSTLES] alone, but for them also which shall BELIEVE on me through THEIR word" (John 17:20)

"That in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." (Matthew 18:16)

PETER, standing together WITH THE other APOSTLES, preached the first Gospel sermon after Jesus' departure, receiving this response:

"Now when they heard this [THE GOSPEL], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what SHALL we DO?" (Acts 2:37)

What PETER had to say,

"Repent, and be BAPTIZED every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)

"Can any man forbid WATER, that these should not be BAPTIZED, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?" (Acts 10:47)

"And he (Peter) COMMANDED them to be BAPTIZED in the NAME of the Lord." (Acts 10:48)

"The like figure whereunto even BAPTISM doth also now SAVE us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 3:21)

What LUKE had to say,

"Then they that gladly received his word were BAPTIZED: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:41)

What PHILLIP had to say,

"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the NAME of Jesus Christ, they were BAPTIZED, both men and women." (Acts 8:12)

"Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was BAPTIZED" (Acts 8:13)

"They were BAPTIZED in the NAME of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 8:16)

"Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus." (Acts 8:35)

"And he COMMANDED the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the WATER, both Philip and the eunuch; and he BAPTIZED him." (Acts 8:38)

What PAUL had to say,

"And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou MUST DO." (Acts 9:6)

"And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be BAPTIZED, and wash away thy sins, CALLING on the NAME of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)

"For whosoever shall CALL upon the NAME of the Lord shall be SAVED." (Romans 10:13)

"And he took them the SAME HOUR of the NIGHT, and washed their stripes; and was BAPTIZED, he and all his, straightway." (Acts 16:33)

"And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, BELIEVED on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing BELIEVED, and were BAPTIZED." (Acts 18:8)

"And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye BAPTIZED? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were BAPTIZED in the NAME of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 19:3-5)

"Know ye not, that so many of us as were BAPTIZED into Jesus Christ were BAPTIZED into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by BAPTISM into death:that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:3-4)

“For as many of you as were BAPTIZED into Christ have PUT ON Christ.” (Galatians 3:27)

"And ye are COMPLETE in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the CIRCUMCISION of Christ: Buried with him in BAPTISM, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." (Colossians 2:10-12)

Yet, with all the above SCRIPTURE notations on BAPTISM, many churches today persist in saying, "Baptism has nothing to do with salvation."
